PROGRAMS
Support an IDEAS Program
Community Development Initiative
The Community Development Initiative helps village residents, who live on less than $2.00 a day, rise out of poverty through participatory projects that meet needs identified by the local community.
Relentless
Relentless seeks liberty through health at the intersection of health and justice so that all abused, exploited, or trafficked people receive quality, trauma-informed care and are empowered to thrive in robust wellness for the rest of their lives.
Dignity Education Center
Help create change that lasts for generations to come through the tutoring and English classes at our center. Our students, who are at the bottom of society, need extra attention and support to overcome poverty and prejudice. When they're treated with respect and dignity, they have the confidence to learn.
International Music & Arts
International Music and Arts develops future music teachers and creates youth development opportunities through general music classes, musical instrument classes, and classical concerts.
Malawi Brother's Keeper Project

El Khilass School Project - Mauritania
Bring transformational hope to the youth of Mauritania through the El Khilass teacher training program! Your partnership impacts not only the teachers and their students, but also the parents and multiple school directors in this community. Thank you for partnering with us!
Central Asia Harvest Project
Central Asia Harvest Project works to increase orchard quality and yields, offering life-giving hope and improving quality of life for farmers and their families. This is accomplished through an interactive agricultural training program that has now evolved into an extensive network of fruit farmers and trained local consultants.
AT Catalyst
AT Catalyst facilitates proper provisioning of assistive technologies and physical, social, and spiritual long-term care for individuals and communities impacted by disabilities who are isolated and not reaching their social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual potential due to lack of resources and training.
Global Reach Libraries
Global Reach Libraries works to see library users in underserved communities grow in imagination and curiosity, expanding their horizons and finding hope. We provide training, mentoring, and professional expertise to librarians so that they can maximize the impact of their libraries.
Agricultural Projects Legacy Fund
Invest in the ongoing agricultural work of IDEAS, in memory of Stan Brown, that includes: Offering true and lasting hope among fruit tree orchard farmers and communities in Kazakhstan and Central Asia; the bold expression of vibrant Christian professionals in their marketplace excellence for the glory of God among overlooked communities; and strengthening and equipping IDEAS Associates and Leadership for this calling.
Guatemala Vision Trip
We will engage in projects serving and providing care to disabled youth. Participants will arrive in Guatemala on July 10th (Wednesday) and leave July 16th (Tuesday). We will explore rural areas of Guatemala via our mobile clinics and provide care to disabled youth in need of assistive technology wheelchairs. The mobile clinics will include assessments for medical and equipment needs, provision of equipment, and training for medical and assistive technology care. Additionally, we plan to visit medical programs and an orphanage run by our partners. During this trip participants will get to experience the UNESCO World Heritage site, Antigua, Guatemala. Youth 14+ are welcome on this trip.
Dignity for Vulnerable Women in Mauritania
Bring dignity, confidence, and respect to women who have otherwise been mistreated, neglected, and forgotten by Mauritanian society. This pilot project is the first step in finding an appropriate way in their culture and context to begin serving and empowering these divorced women effectively. Together we can provide them with training in trauma management as well as literacy education, accounting experience, and small business opportunities. Your contribution will help change a woman’s life and the lives of her children.
ACT For North Africa
Through IDEAS’ partner, the Association for Cooperation and Transformation, funds will support the development, operation, and administration of community transformation projects in North Africa. Activities serve vulnerable and marginalized communities through locally-led development strategies, job creation, employability training, social justice advocacy, the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices, and civil society capacity building.
Eye Care for Refugees
Eye Care for Refugees provides accessible primary care optometry services, including prescription eyeglasses, basic ocular treatments, and consultation regarding ocular conditions. Eye clinics and "eye-care days” are held at several churches and community centers in Jordan, which have often been established to help meet the needs of Syrian, Iraqi, Sudanese, and Yemeni refugees and some local Jordanians.
Light on a Hill
Light on a Hill seeks to improve the skills of English-speaking teachers, which in turn improves the language abilities of their students, preparing them for jobs in the future. We do this through English practice online with locals through a “virtual pen pal” relationship, English clubs and camps, English practice with local students, advising, mentoring, coaching, and teaching owners of local English teaching businesses.
Nur-Hayat Sports
Nur-Hayat Sports exists to improve health and wellness for rural farming families of Central Asia. We do this through sports camps, running events, a weight-lifting gym, annual bike tours, and educational sports videos.
Complejo Gilgal
Complejo Gilgal is a community and retreat center in Córdoba, Argentina where churches, organizations, and individuals can come to recharge, connect, and be equipped in order to partner together in serving marginalized communities locally and globally.
Do Better, Stay Longer
They make a huge sacrifice to live in extremely isolated circumstances - out in the wilderness of some of the least developed countries on earth. They are there to care for the local people, bring support, develop stronger communities, and be a source of good news and hope. But who is caring for their needs? This program seeks to provide services such as professional counseling, training, and debriefing for under-serviced cross-cultural workers so they can "Do Better, Stay Longer."
